AT&T U-verse, commonly called just U-verse, was at one time a brand of Triple-Play Telecommunication Services. AT&T U-verse is owned by AT&T and was founded on June 26, 2006. At the time, U-verse included services for broadband internet, IP telephone, and IP Television. However, in September of 2016, AT&T announced that the U-verse brand would no longer apply to their broadband internet or telephone services. U-verse now only applies to AT&T’s TV service, although it is also packaged along with internet and phone services within the AT&T bundles. U-verse is available all across the United States, as well as in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
For AT&T U-verse TV alone, there are three options available; the U-Family TV package with 180+ channels, the U200 TV package with 370+ channels, and the U300 TV package with 485+ channels. The monthly prices for these packages are based on 12-month agreements and are $49.99, $69.99, and $74.99 per month respectively. When bundled with AT&T’s internet service, The U-Family TV package is $79.99 per month, the U200 TV package is $99.99 per month, and the U300 TV package is $104.99 per month. For these bundles, a $10 per month internet equipment fee is added to the price. There is also a popular package offered to customers who would like to have U-verse, internet and phone service. The price for this bundled package is $99.98 per month for 12 months, plus the $10 internet equipment fee. Taxes will also be applied to all prices, based on location.
